Scott Baker leads the team and is the proud founder of Trouble Free Interiors.
The Beginning
Scott completed his apprenticeship in Shop Fitting and Detailed Joinery in 1990 whilst working with a well known and award winning kitchen company in Sydney. Two years after the completion of his apprenticeship, Scott’s dream of operating and building his own company led to the establishment of TFI in 1992.
Scott has a passion for not only designing and building quality kitchens and joinery but also for building strong relationships with every client based on open communication, honesty, trust and friendliness.
TFI’s Operations
TFI began operating out of it’s factory premises in McGraths Hill 18 years ago. Scott formed his team as demands grew and he has now worked with his Factory Manager, Brad Willingham for over 15 years and has trained four apprentices himself. Two of these apprentices have remained with TFI for the past 8 years.
As the company has grown in size cutting edge manufacturing equipment has been incorporated into TFI’s operations to meet the latest requests from customers and larger companies. Scott and his team have serviced Delonghi successfully for the past 15 years by manufacturing and installing their corporate displays at a national level.
Scott maintains a “hands on” approach. He designs each kitchen and piece of joinery himself and plays an active role in every installation. He maintains sole responsibility for the successful fit out of each project, big or small.
